Gardaí carried out raids on a number of stalls in Dublin’s Liberties this morning, in a bid to curb the sale of counterfeit goods.
The raids were carried out in the Meath Street area, according to TheJournal.ie, and a number of items were removed on suspicion that they are counterfeit goods.
Locals reportedly saw a number of Gardaí placing items from the stalls into vans, and some venders were cautioned.
A Garda spokeswoman said: “We can confirm searches were conducted this morning on Meath Street for counterfeit items.”
