Gardaí Slam ‘Simply Unacceptable’ Conditions At Rat-Infested City Station

A garda station in the city centre has become overrun by rats and is “completely substandard”, according to reports.

Independent.ie claims that the Sundrive Garda Station, which covers Crumlin and Drimnagh, has been dealing with a serious rat infestation and the matter has now gotten so bad that it has been brought to the attention of Garda Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan.

The team at the station regularly deal with associates involved with the Hutch and Kinahan gangs, with a spokesperson for the Garda Representative Association (GRA) saying that it is “simply unacceptable” that the officers are left to work in such conditions.
