Bad news for those travelling to the match today - as the M50 is absolutely shut down by the country's many GAA fans gone to watch their teams play at Croker.

Armagh are playing Tyrone earlier in the day and Dublin are taking on Monaghan later this afternoon.

AA Roadwatch has been updating their Twitter regularly to warn users of traffic and nearby collisions ahead of the match.

An Garda Síochána have also chimed in - telling motorists to use the M50 exists Junction 4 and 5 if at all possible.

The motorway is expected to be busy until much later this evening.
