Housing activists took over a house on Frederick Street North yesterday.
This followed a ten-day sit-in by housing activists in a property on Summerhill Parade.
The occupiers were ordered to leave the house yesterday at 8 am by the High Court.

The group released a statement on Facebook saying they want to continue the need for action during the housing crisis.
“Housing and community activists have occupied number 34 North Frederick Street this afternoon…This is following the 10-day occupation of 35 Summerhill Parade a short distance away, and the 6-hour occupation of the Custom House on the 15th of August…We have decided to take 34 North Frederick Street, to continue to highlight the need for organised action against the crisis.”
