Yesterday, we told you on Lovin.ie that Met Éireann had issued a warning to 14 Irish counties (and Connacht) about widespread rainfall from Sunday to Monday.
Looking outside in Dublin today, it seems that they may have been wide of the mark. However, according to the Irish Independent, heavy rain caused by Hurricane Gert has began in Kerry and will make its way to the capital in due course.
5mm of rain fell in The Kingdom just 15 minutes earlier and Dublin is set to be battered along with Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal,Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Clare and North Tipperary.
You best go out for that Sunday walk sooner rather than later.
