Jaysis – A Parking Space In Dublin Is Up For Sale For €18,000

Sarah

The world has officially gone mad. Absolutely bonkers.

We all know that rents are rising sky high, especially in Dublin’s city centre, so you’d think you’d be saving a few quid by living out in the suburbs, driving into work and just parking the car nearby.

Not so apparently, if you work in the IFSC.

An ad was spotted on Daft.ie for a parking space in the area for sale for an insane €18,000.

The ad, which at the time of writing already has over 3,000 views (shows just how valuable city centre parking spaces are) says that:

“This is a unique opportunity to acquire a secure underground parking space in the heart of Dublin’ s financial district.

“Located within Custom House Square in the heart of the IFSC in a gated underground area.

“This space would be ideal for residents who did not have the option to purchase a space at the time or someone looking for the convenience of a space close to good public transport.”

Crazy. Would you pay this much to park your car there?
