If you’re wondering where all the smoke across the city is coming from, it’s from a large fire in Inchicore Dublin 8.
While the fire crews on the scene now have the blaze under control (up to eight fire engines at the latest count) they are estimating it will take hours to extinguish it fully.
The blaze started in a derelict building but has spread further since then – thankfully, however, nobody has been reported injured in the fire.
Gardai are requesting people to avoid Emmett Road in Dublin 8 as the large scale operation continues.
