It’s that time of week again where last weekend’s hangover has finally left us be – and we start thinking about what we’re (and our hearts, heads and feelings) are going to get stuck into this weekend.

This bank holiday weekend has loads going on, with activities suited to the faint-hearted and not so much. Food, drinks and fun – all you have to do is choose…
1. Mother ft. Michael Pope: Guardian of Le Galaxie

2. Eir-Raves
On August 5, it’s all going down at Sin É.
One of Dublin’s best pubs is proving why it is so with a whole night of music, laughter and good causes.
Tickets are €5, with all funds raised from this event will going towards Shabaoo theatre’s premiere show “Eirwaves”, playing at the Edinburgh fringe from the August 21 – 26.
3. The Great Gin Fair
Yep – there’s an actual gin fair on this weekend in the city. We’re as excited as you are!
Kicking off this Sunday at 12pm, House Dublin is turning into a gin emporium – offering 80 different types of gins to the humble gin drinker.
Throughout the day, there will be live music and entertainment, a series of fascinating revolving talks from gin industry experts, master distillers, and brand ambassadors, blind tastings, gin samplings, lots of deadly food and loads and loads of gin talk – you’d be mad to miss out on this one.
4. All Day Brunch Party @ Farrier & Draper
Yep – a whole day of eating, imbibing and enjoying all that South William Street has to offer. Expect disco, soul, RnB and house.

5. Bank Holiday BBQ Garden Party
This is exactly what it says on the tin – a huge BBQ for all of The Odeon’s loyal customers, where they can drink, eat and chill in one of Dublin’s best locations.
Cocktails are being prices dangerously at two for €12 on the day – hwo can you say no to that?!
6. The Big BBQ Rooftop Party @ Jacobs Inn
It’s back…
Yet another all day BBQ set-up where you can chill, imbibe and take in some of the best views of the city.
And at just €5 for a burger meal and a beer – you’re practically making money by going.
7. Warehouse Market @ Newmarket Square
The first Sunday of each month brings a few things – a new paycheck, a new month date to try and remember every time you take it down, and a Warehouse Market in Dublin’s Newmarket Square.
You can pick up anything here from clothing to home ware to records to art.
There’ll also be unreal food, live music and enough coffee to make you feel like you’re actually awake after the night before.

8. And finally, Full Moon Workshop & Yoga Meditation @ Little Bird
Need some chakra cleansing?
The Full Moon is the best time in the month for spiritual, mental, emotional and physical rejuvenation.
