A Man Rushed To Hospital After A Suspected 'Hit And Run' In Dublin Last Night

A man was taken to hospital after a suspected hit and run in North Dublin yesterday evening.

Sources told the Independent.ie that the victim was hit by the car on the Darndale road, Dublin 17, close to the Darndale roundabout at approximately 6.30pm.

The man suffered "minor ankle injuries" and was taken to Beaumont Hospital.

Gardaí from Coolock attended the scene, but no formal complaint has been made to them.
