An entire apartment block in north Dublin had to be evacuated late last night after a blaze broke out on the second floor.
The Irish Independent reports that the Dublin Fire Brigade received an emergency call about the Finglas fire at the building in Premier Square at 11pm.
Three fire engines, a fire tender, a turn-table truck, and an ambulance attended the scene and families were evacuated from the building as the crew worked to tackled the flames.
The blaze was quickly brought under control, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
