PICS: One Of The Biggest Irish Bands Of The ’90s Are Currently Playing In A Rathmines Barbershop

It’s not every Saturday that you find 1990s pop royalty lurking around the Dublin suburbs… not least in a barbershop.

But such is the magic of this little city – and right this very minute, Ash are playing a set in Abner Brown’s in Rathmines.

‘Oh Yeah’?

Yeah.

The gig was a tightly controlled ticketed event (there were no extras to ‘Burn Baby Burn’), but the lucky few who did get in look to be enjoying something pretty damn special by the looks of these pics from Anne McCoy.

Or you could say that the whole thing looks to be a bit of a Shining Li… no, okay, we’ll resist.
