These Pictures Show The Disgraceful State That The Canal Was Left In This Weekend

Dublin had one of the sunniest weekends we've ever seen, which meant people were out and about celebrating in style across the capital.

We've seen all the photos and videos from Portobello and outside The Barge, which made the canal look more like a music festival than a pub. 

Unfortunately, without wanting to come across as the fun police, the place was left like a dump for others to clean up. 

The canal was where people flocked to this weekend...

These pictures show that people weren't quite so good at cleaning up as they were at enjoying themselves...

Let's not ruin it for everybody and try to take five minutes to clean up next time.
