A World-Renowned Singer Is Being Tipped To Perform For The Pope At Croke Park

The visit of Pope Francis to Irish shores is getting ever closer and like most stars who rock into the capital he’s bringing a decent support act with him.

According to the Irish Independent, world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli is being tipped to perform for His Holiness at Croke Park on August 25 as part of the World Meeting Of Families 2018. A source told the publication that Ed Sheeran, The Script and Finbar Furey had also been considered for the event.

If seeing the Pope wasn’t enough, the chance to catch Bocelli in action should be enough to draw people in.
