It’s hard enough to pay the bills in Dublin when you’re working but spare a thought for the poor students.
A new survey had shown that going to college in Dublin costs a staggering €12,495 a year for anyone who has to live away from home.
In addition to rent, The Cost Of Living Guide also advised students that they should budget €1,503 for food, €1,215 for travel, €3,000 for student charges and €630 for books and class materials.
The guide estimates that socialising will rack up a bill of €675 over the course of a year.
Thank god for cheap bags of cans!
