It’s a sad day in Dublin as the famous ‘North Cider Or South Cider’ sign is officially gone.
The Bulmers ad that ran along the northside of the Loopline Bridge across the Liffey has pretty much been there for as long as anyone can remember.
But it's now been replaced by an ad for Tesco.

The Tesco ad in its place reads, ‘Home d’livery, both sides of d’Liffey.’
It’s in a similar vein to the original alright, but not everyone on Twitter was too happy about the change:
Today I looked up at the train tracks near Beresford Place bus stop and noticed that one of the most iconic signs in Dublin is gone.
