We’re getting that little bit closer to the completion of the Luas Cross City Works, with the new connecting line scheduled to open at the end of 2017.
While there have been a fair few disruptions across the city, good news emerged over the weekend that the Red Line has now resumed a full service. The line has re-opened from Tallaght and Saggart all the way to the Point, without the need for any shuttle transfers.
The works were initially expected to take until the end of July, so it should come as a pleasant surprise to any commuters dependent on the Red Line to get to and from work.
