The Queues For Public Transport This Morning Were Manic

Rail services are at a standstill for 24 hours as the second day of industrial action with Iarnród Éireann takes place.

With no trains running, it has lead to extra traffic on the streets of Dublin and left a lot of people relying on other forms of public transport to make their daily commute this morning.

As a public transport user myself I witnessed the hectic hustle and bustle as everyone hoped that there was room on a Dublin Bus or Luas when it came to their stop.

Twitter users have been sharing some photos of the amount of people waiting this morning and it looks manic.

Here are just some of the queues and photos of packed public transport spotted around Dublin:

Did you morning commute take longer than usual?
