Some traffic delays are unavoidable – but some aren’t.
And that’s definitely the case this afternoon, as an otherwise innocuous breakdown on an M50 off-ramp near the Red Cow Roundabout has led to delays stretching all the way back to the previous junction?
And why?
Feckin’ rubberneckers, that’s why.
Passengers in need of a good gawp at the incident, who slow down and not only bring traffic to a standstill – but also create stupid amounts of risk in the process.
Christ alive.
M50: Breakdown on the M50 NB off-ramp at J9 Red Cow in the hard shouilder. Delays building back to J10 Ballymount due to rubberneckers.

But it’s not all bad news today…

Small mercies, eh?
Just wait until they report on the queues at Teddy’s, mind…
