There are major delays on the M50 following an earlier incident on the motorway.
The two-car collision occurred on the southbound carriageway, near Exit 13 (Dundrum/Sandyford) and the tailbacks are now reportedly stretching back as far as the previous exit, Junction 12 (Knocklyon/Firhouse).
Drivers are being urged to exit the motorway at Junction 12 to avoid getting caught up in the extensive delays. There are no reports so far as to whether anyone has been injured in the incident.
