This is worrying.
As spectators gather in their thousands to watch the Bray Air Display, which is to kick off in the next half hour, a gorse fire has taken hold along the northwest side of Bray Head.
The hill’s summit is a popular viewing point for the annual show, and was well populated during yesterday’s display – and while this fire does not look to be close to the main route between the seafront and the summit, it is said to be spreading.
Emergency services are reported to be on their way to the scene, a local source has told Lovin Dublin.
