A public area in Clondalkin has been closed off after hazardous substances were discovered.
Oatfield Drive in Neilstown has been cordoned off for most of the day after a member of the public found the “highly-hazardous chemical substance”.
According to The Sun, four fire brigades and two specialist units attended the scene and efforts are ongoing to identify the chemical.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade told the newspaper that the Environmental Protection Agency has been informed and the substance will be removed later today.
