We all know that this city is bursting with characters, heroes and inspirational tales – and that’s why we’re so thankful that we have Humans of Dublin, to bring it all together.
The Facebook page is an absolute triumph of storytelling at the best of times, but a post from last night saw it outdo itself.
Telling the tale of Glenn – an actor, writer, director and ambassador for our good pals at the Dublin Simon Community – it really brings home the fact that homelessness is not a permanent state or the making of a human being.
It’s merely a situation, and one that can be surmounted with the right support and care from the rest of us.
