It’s one of the busiest shopping days of the year, and the last day where you’d want something like this to happen.
But unfortunately, a minor crash on Wexford Street has brought the south city centre to an absolute standstill.
The upside to this is that nobody’s been hurt, according to this tweet from the guards – but it could be an incredibly stressful evening for a lot of people trying to get home and out of the cold.

And it’s not the only incident on the roads of Dublin this evening…

You know what?
Maybe this is the perfect excuse to leave the car in town, grab a mulled wine while the madness subsides, then get the bus or Luas home and pick up the aul wheels tomorrow.
Sure go on.
