There’s very little to be happy about as a Dublin commuter this evening.
Not only is it lashing rain and muggy and miserable – but the city’s transport systems seem to have been hit with a perfect storm of delays and disruptions.
The M50 has been hit with poor visibility and surface water, leading to delays of an hour between Carrickmines and Red Cow on the northbound carriageway.
M50: NB solid from J15 Carrickmines to J9 Red Cow. May take over an hour to clear.

Meanwhile, the Luas Red Line has also been hit with delays of up to 15 minutes due to ‘an earlier incident’ between Belgard and Saggart.

Might be one of those evenings to just stay in town with a pint, eh?
