This evening's traffic is already off to a terrible start.

First thing's first:

There is an incident on the Ringsend Road near to the bus garage. Motorists are being asked to take care on approach.

According to AA Roadwatch Newsroom, there are also several roads that should be avoided.

Traffic lights are out of action at the junction of Grand Canal St and Clanwilliam Place. Caution needed on approach.

It’s slow on Sean Moore Rd from before the R/A over Tom Clarke Bridge.

There are delays along the Grand Canal westbound at Portobello.

In the city centre, it’s busy on the North Quays at Arran Quay and Bachelors Walk. On the South Quays, it’s busy on Burgh Quay.

It's busy but moving outbound from Drumcondra to Collins Ave on the Swords Rd.

On the M50 southbound, it’s already slow from J6 Blanchardstown to J9 Red Cow. Further south, it's slow from the M50/M11 Merge to J5 Bray North on the M11. Northbound traffic is just busy at J10 Ballymount.

Drivers are being asked to exercise caution on all of the above roads.
