No joke, I actually felt the need to examine this video super-closely to ensure that it wasn’t some sort of CGI trickery.
But alas, it’s totally legit.
It shows a seal in Wicklow town hopping out of the harbour, crossing the road towards a fishmonger (while observing the safe cross code), then being fended off by a staff member who later emerges with food.
Should we be afraid?
