Woman Arrested After Big Inner City Cocaine Bust

A woman is in custody after €10,000 worth of cocaine was seized in the city today.

The joint operation was carried out by Gardaí and Revenue in the south inner city this morning.

The Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, as well as the drugs unit at Kevin Street drugs and Revenue seized a package containing about 142g of cocaine.

A 28 year old Irish woman was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station. 

Investigations are continuing.
