Ingredients
- Wontons wrappers – 12
- Sesame oil – 2tbs
- Light Soy sauce – 2tbs
- Chicken thighs – 4
- Tiger prawns (raw) – about 15
- Fresh Garlic – 4 cloves
- Fresh Ginger – 1/2 thumb size piece
If you’re planning a celebration this weekend then kick things off with these amazing, crispy wontons. They are the perfect party bites and are a very impressive dish to serve up to your guests!
Instructions
Step 1
You just need 7 ingredients to make these bad boys.
Step 2
Run your knife through the prawns and chicken, then dump them into a blender with the ginger, garlic, soy and sesame oil.
Step 3
Leave in the fridge for about 60 minutes allowing the oil and soy to marinate through the meats.
Step 4
Happy with the seasoning? Then dump about a teaspoon of the mix onto the centre of a lightly moistened wonton wrapper.
Step 5
As dainty as you can, bring up the corners of the wrapper and form a cute little purse. Or you could just fold them in half!
Step 6
Get your Wok ‘n’ Roll on and shallow fry the wontons for about 2 minutes. Stick a knife into them and check that they’re cooked through.
Step 7
Serve your wontons to the amazement of your guests!
