The Quick Ice Cream Crunch

This isn’t so much a recipe, but more of a tasty throw-everything-together treat that literally takes seconds.

Sometimes you may have a craving for something sweet, but are just not bothered making something time-consuming. Or maybe you have friends over for dinner and don’t want to waste time sweating over a dessert when you’ve already spent the afternoon making your starters and mains.

All you need to do is get your favourite chocolate, sweets, nuts or fruits and crush them up and sprinkle them over a good vanilla ice-cream. So quick and easy, but always a crowd-pleaser.

Instructions

Step 1

Scoop out your vanilla ice cream. It’s best to leave the ice cream out of the freezer for 2 minutes before you start scooping so it softens a little.

Step 2

Roughly chop up your hazelnuts.
