This smoothie is so fast to make and so delicious that it will become one of your daily staples once you taste it. The only thing that is a bit of a pain in the arse is the mango but you could prepare that in advance if you were one of those people who struggle to get dressed in the morning. Check it out..
Instructions
Step 1
The best bet is to keep some orange juice, yoghurt and bananas in the house at all times if you are going to be getting in to smoothies. They form the base and everything else is just expanding the flavours.
Step 2
Start by putting the raspberries and the small tub of yoghurt in to the blender
Step 3
Lash in the banana. Not rocket science this really is it?
Step 4
Chop your limes in half. They are packed full of vitamin C and will give this a real huge zing.
Step 5
Squeeze them in
Step 6
Pick a few mint leaves. These are not totally essential but they give it all a lovely fresh flavour.
Step 7
The mango is a little tricky to prepare so start by taking a bit off the top and the bottom so as it balances easily on the chopping board.
Step 8
Run your knife around the outside. If you are not confident doing this you could use a peeler.
Step 9
You’ll be left with a lovely big fresh ripe mango but there is a big fucking awkward stone in the very middle of it. Work your knife around the stone to remove all the flesh.
Step 10
You’ll be left with a load of juicy flesh. Don’t worry about it being all hacked up.
Step 11
Lash that in to a blender and give it all a good blitz for 30 seconds to a minute so as it is all silky smooth and no bits left in it.
Step 12
You’ll be left with a lovely big glass full of goodness
So that is it. Couldn’t be much fucking easier than that to be honest. The mango is a bit of a pain in the hole but if you prepare it the night before and have it ready to go in a bowl then this delicious drinks is not going to take you more than 2 minutes to lash together and give you that natural kick in the morning that we all clearly need!
