Snazzy, Healthy Lunchbox Chicken Pasta


  • 1 packet of small shaped pasta (whatever type)
  • 1 Sweet potato (or pre chopped)
  • 1 Bag of spinach
  • 1 Packet of feta
  • 1 Red onion
  • 1 packet of coriander
  • 2 chicken breasts

If you work in the city centre or a typical industrial estate you probably have a massive pain in the hole with all the same lunch options in your area. One option that is worth considering to spice things up is making your own lunch and lashing it into a lunch box. It also means that you can come up with something healthy like this and it will also save you a bunch of cash. I don’t want to blow my own trumpet but this is the recipe that tested the best out of all the ones I’ve ever made. Well fucking happy with it so I was.


Step 1

You’ll want to make a good big fuck off pot of this because it will work for a dinner and then a couple of lunch boxes.


Step 2

Lash on a pot of water and a large frying pan.


Step 3

Peel an onion. Pretty fucking simple in fairness


Step 4

Slice the bastard up as thin as you possibly can.


Step 5

Throw a bit out oil into a pan and put it on a medium heat.

I’m lucky in that I found a bag of pre-chopped sweet potato. You might have to peel and chop yours but thats your own tough shit! Nice small pieces is key here.


Step 7

Lash the onions and the sweet potato into the pan.


Step 8

Keep them stirred and over a low heat moving them every couple of minutes.


Step 9

Grab the whole bag of coriander.


Step 10

Chop the shit out of it with a big sharp knife

Have it nice and fine like this.


Step 12

Crumble up the feta cheese just using your hands. make sure you wash them fist though you filthy animal

Set the coriander and feta cheese onto a plate to one side for later.


Step 14

When the water comes up to the boil lash the pasta in.

With the sweet potato getting soft lash in a half glass of water. This will help bind it all and soften it up a bit.


Step 16

Stir it all up and cook for about another 3-4 minutes.


Step 17

The mixture should be very soft but not like pure mush.


Step 18

Turn the heat off and fuck in the entire bag of spinach.


Step 19

It will be piled up over the edge of the pan but don’t worry it’ll shrink down soon

Fuck in the pasta once you have strained it

Stir the whole thing up and it should be starting to take shape now

Take it off the heat and make sure to let it cool right down. Don’t mix it yet!!!

Lash on a char grill pan or a frying pan if you don’t have one.

Grab 2 chicken breasts.


Step 25

Slice them into nice thin pieces. Thinner the better.


Step 26

Lash a bit of oil over them and season up with salt and pepper.

Lash them into the piping hot pan.


Step 28

Don’t mess around with them and just let them cook. Once they starting colouring up start flipping them

They should cook through in no time at all.

When the pasta has cooled down lash in the feta and coriander.


Step 31

Plate it up by lashing the pasta onto the plate.


Step 32

Top it off with the chicken and you have an insanely good dish. Fucking awesome.


The key to this is that you’ll get enough for one dinner and a couple of lunches out of the one recipe. Rather than the boring sandwiches and shitty salads you get in the local shops you’ll know exactly what went into it. The other bonus is that it is super healthy and full of carbs and protein so exactly what you should be eating at lunch time before working out in the evening. Cheap, healthy and tasty. Get fucking in!
