Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 lemon
- Fresh coriander
- Fresh thyme
- 4 pork chops
- Salt
- Pepper
Nothin’ beats a BBQ on a hot summer’s day, and pork chops are the perrrrrfect thing to serve up and impress your guests with.
These guys couldn’t be easier to prepare – should take less than five mins to get them ready – and then throw them on the barbie for about 20 minutes. Simple!

So fire up that barbeque, it’s time for chops.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your BBQ to a medium heat.
Step 2
Prep for your marinade. Melt the butter slowly in a saucepan – medium to low heat should do the job. Roughly chop your garlic, then juice and zest your lemon.
Step 3
Add the garlic, the prepared lemon and thyme into the saucepan and cook until it’s all nice and soft. Is this what heavens smells like? Quite possibly.
Step 4
Remove marinade from heat. Easy.
Step 5
Pop your pork chops onto a plate and coat both sides with the butter marinade.
Step 6
Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.
Step 7
Throw them bad boys on the heated BBQ and pop the lid on. Turn yo chops after 3 to 4 mins, then cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, brushing a lil’ more of that delish, buttery marinade on, until cooked through.
Step 8
Serve ’em up straight away and top with leftover marinade, fresh coriander and some accoutrements of your choosing.
