  • 100g butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • Fresh coriander
  • Fresh thyme
  • 4 pork chops
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Nothin' beats a BBQ on a hot summer's day, and pork chops are the perrrrrfect thing to serve up and impress your guests with.

These guys couldn't be easier to prepare – should take less than five mins to get them ready – and then throw them on the barbie for about 20 minutes. Simple!

All ingredients can be delivered straight to your house Supervalu Online Shopping.

So fire up that barbeque, it's time for chops.

Step 1

Preheat your BBQ to a medium heat.

Step 2

Prep for your marinade. Melt the butter slowly in a saucepan – medium to low heat should do the job. Roughly chop your garlic, then juice and zest your lemon.

Step 3

Add the garlic, the prepared lemon and thyme into the saucepan and cook until it's all nice and soft. Is this what heavens smells like? Quite possibly.

Step 4

Remove marinade from heat. Easy.

Step 5

Pop your pork chops onto a plate and coat both sides with the butter marinade.

Step 6

Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Step 7

Throw them bad boys on the heated BBQ and pop the lid on. Turn yo chops after 3 to 4 mins, then cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, brushing a lil' more of that delish, buttery marinade on, until cooked through.

Step 8

Serve 'em up straight away and top with leftover marinade, fresh coriander and some accoutrements of your choosing.

Summer lovin'. Literally.
