We’re Giving Away Brunch For Two At This Aungier Street Spot

seank

You know what we think? We think that you deserve a treat — and we have just the place to find one.

We’ve teamed up with Whitefriar Grill — who bagged the Lovin Dublin Best Brunch In Dublin Award in 2014 — to offer a lucky Lovin Dublin reader brunch for two to the value of €60.

And there’s a whole lotta goodness you can enjoy with that money.

If you’re a fan of eggs, they’ve a whole menu dedicated to ’em! It boasts such delicacies as Norwegian Eggs (with potato rosti, smoked salmon, baby spinach, hollandaise), Gambas Benedict (with poached eggs, baby spinach, avocado salsa, citrus hollandaise) and Huevos Rancheros (with chorizo, black eyed beans, corn tortillas, tomato chipotle salsa, guacamole, fried eggs).

If eggs aren’t your thing, stick with the specials: Spicy Chicken Wings (with blue cheese dip, celery sticks), ‘Ribsnrump’ (8oz rump steak with sticky BBQ ribs & thick cut chips) or Jack McCarthy’s Black Pudding Waffles (served with whipped foie gras & plum chutney).

If you’ve room left, you may as well tuck into a little dessert! Perhaps you’d like to share some Chocolate Fondue, Baileys & Cherry Creme Brulee, or decadent Belgian Waffles (with Nutella, caramelised bananas, chantilly cream, ice cream and toasted hazelnuts).

No brunch is truly complete without a cocktail or two, and you’ve plenty to choose from here. You can’t go wrong with the house Bloody Mary (chorizo infused vodka, slapped basil leaf, tomato juice, salt & pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco), battle your hangover with their patented ‘Anti Fear Potion’ (orange juice, carrot juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice & beetroot all served tall over ice) or even combine your need for dessert and cocktails with the ‘Jack ‘n’ Coke Float’ (Jack Daniels, vanilla ice cream charged with Coca-Cola).

Not only is Whitefriar Grill a great brunch spot but it’s also one to keep in mind for pre-show dining, given its proximity to The Gaiety, Olympia Theatre and various Camden Street venues.
