If you’re getting sick of your usual café and want to try somewhere new and different for your daily fix, then you need to check out this new spot located on one of the coolest streets in the city.

Raglan opened about a month ago on Drury Street and is an independent clothes store and coffee bar. The shop front it so eye catching that it’s impossible to walk past without popping in, the inside is really chilled out and definitely puts you in the mood for a sit down with a coffee. If you’re just ordering a coffee to go the service is pretty fast, but if you have more time on your hands you can browse all the clothes, both menswear and womenswear. The whole place has a real surfer-in-the-city vibe and feels like somewhere you might find in Bondi. The clothes are a mix of brands including Billabong, WESC, Nixon and RCVA.

We popped in for a quick take away coffee and tea. The cappuccino was delicious, they use a really nice roast of Ariosa coffee. The mint tea was good quality, loose-leaf tea rather than the limp bags of dust many cafés dish out. We were in a rush but the seating area seemed really chilled and they have WiFi there too so it’s somewhere I could return to and work remotely for an hour while enjoying a hot drink. They had some treats like chocolate rice krispie squares, flapjacks and lemon cake on display which I’ll have to try the next time.

This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a new coffee haunt or some new threads, or both!
