Everyone Is Talking About Dublin’s ‘The Duuurty Santa’ In Dundrum’s Pop-Up Café

Darragh Berry

A new pop up at Dundrum is set to sell the sandwich sensation of the season.  Santa’s Sambos says it has Ireland’s number one Christmas Sandwiches and the perfect choice for shoppers looking to refuel this festive season.

Boasting a range of turkey, ham and stuffing creations, the new outlet at Santa’s Village on Town Square in Dundrum Shopping Centre is already a must-do for shoppers and sandwich lovers.  Set up by young entrepreneurs Shane Murphy and Killian Stafford, the pop up has been pulling in the punters and the votes in the race for Ireland’s number one Christmas Sandwich.

The Turkey and Ham range includes three styles the Brioche Bun, a Triple Decker and The Beast and is only for the brave.

Then, there is ‘The Duuurty Santa’ – three layers of slow roasted turkey, cider and honey glazed ham, sausage, sage, leak stuffing topped with melted French brie and cranberry sauce. The all-important middle slice of toasted bread is soaked in homemade gravy and is simply delicious.

Prices start at €6 with two sandwiches for €10.  Santa’s Sambos is also doing hot drinks, mince pies and other Christmas favourites.

Ideal if you want to take some time out from your Christmas shopping.
