PICS: World Famous Chocolate Store Is Getting Its First Ever Dublin City Centre Shop

If any sort of chocolate makes you drool uncontrollably like Homer Simpson, then you are in for a real treat ladies and gentlemen because a chocolate paradise is coming to Dublin’s city centre.

The Irish Times confirmed on Wednesday that Hotel Chocolat is set to open its first ever store in Dublin’s city centre.

The world renowned store – which has more than 100 outlets across the UK, Denmark and Hong Kong – will open at 1 GPO Buildings on Henry Street in the “very near future”.

The multi-award winning shop has gone from strength to strength since it opened its first store in 2004 which they describe as the start of the British Chocolate revolution.

They are guided by the three basic values that they started with and that they believe got them to where they are today:

• Originality – fresh, creative and innovative, and always one surprising step ahead.
• Authenticity – obtaining chocolate from the roots of the cacao tree.
• Ethics – They’ve been raising the bar for cocoa-growing since 2002.
