This Is My ‘Go-To’ Meal In Dublin – What’s Yours?

Everybody has a 'go-to' meal.

It's something that you eat when you're feeling down; when you can't be bothered making a decision about where to eat, and just want something reliable; the thing you crave when you're away from home.

I wanted to share mine today and hopefully discover some more by seeing yours in the comments. We'll have a whole list of 'go-to' meals that way!

So mine is actually in Crackbird.

I'm not saying it is the best meal in town, but it's the one I know is never going to let me down. I get the lime and ginger spritzer, chili chicken crunches and a baked potato (they're one of the few places in town who do a decent baked potato). Throw in the whipped feta sauce and the sriracha sauce, and the fact it all takes just about 10 minutes to whip up... and yeah, it really doesn't get much better than that.

A bad day can instantly be sent off in a new better direction. It makes me happy. I devour every single piece and wish I could have it every single day. A triumph. Others might taste it and wonder what I am talking about, but to me it's perfection. My own personal dream meal on a plate.
