Ok ok, we know what you’re thinking…
The concept of a vegan pop-up food truck may belong in Bushwick moreso than Dublin, but bear with us for a second.
1. Vegan food is highly nutritious, tasty and good for you (whether you’re a vegan or not).
2. The vegans of the city definitely need more spots where they can eat out.
3. Food trucks brightening up residential neighbourhoods are always welcome.
Right, glad we got that over with!
Veginity is a vegan food truck that serves all kinds of different vegan street food. Parked in an industrial warehouse with big open doors in the heart of Portobello on Richmond Place South, the truck and seating area are always covered so the weather won’t affect this pop-up.
The food truck is run by the Australian Chef Mark Senn who has been vegetarian for over 20 years, and focuses on delivering tasty vegan street food from all over the world.
He previously worked in the famous Mildreds of Soho in London, was Head Chef of Soul Mama in Melbourne, and has his very own cook book by the name of ‘Losing My Veginity’ – a title that needs to be applauded.
The food at Veginity is hearty, wholesome and beautifully presented.
Yes, those are vegan strawberry doughnuts.
Fancy trying it out?
Veginity is open on Fridays from 5pm-10pm and on Saturdays from 1pm-10pm at Richmond Place South.
