We’re spoilt for choice when it comes to casual eateries in Dublin, but we’re always excited when a new kid comes on the block.
Clansbrassil House opened on Clanbrassil Street on Tuesday, and has quite the buzz around it already.
The menu is a mix of small plates and grilled dishes, including the likes of shorthorn picanha steak with bone marrow and chimichurri.
We tried one of the light options – roasted leeks with chopped egg and crispy chicken skin – and it was absolutely delicious.
Then for dessert we had chocolate mousse with honeycomb and marmalade ice-cream, and we’re still thinking about how amazing it was.
Head chef Grainne O’Keefe is just 26, and said she was looking forward to her new role despite the pressure it brings.
