EXCLUSIVE: This Slick New Restaurant Is Opening This Weekend On South William Street

Another great addition to one of Dublin's finest streets... and what a menu!

South William Street has always been one of my favourite streets in Dublin – and things are about to get even better there with the opening of a cool new restaurant this weekend.

It's called Platform 61 and from the look of the interiors, menus and general vibe, it could be quite the spot.

Located downstairs opposite the South William and Clement and Pekoe – next door to Bagots Hutton – they'll be testing out for friends and family this evening, then opening up to the general public in the coming days just as soon as everything is spot on.

We'll let them get warmed up and into their gear before popping in for some food and letting you know what it's like – but nonetheless, exciting times for the Dublin restaurant scene!

So What's On The Menu?

The place has everything from small plates, awesome lunches and a great brunch focus. Here's a small selection of the dishes they'll be offering...

Drury Street had been edging ahead in terms of foodie spots... but this could just tip the balance back in favour of good ol' South William Street!
