Not something you’d expect to see every day (or any day really), the video shows a man lying flat on his back as he drifts down the River Liffey. Seen wearing a suit and collared shirt, the video of the mystery swimmer has caused quite a stir since being posted online this morning. A video […]

The head of an 800-year-old mummy known as ‘The Crusader’ has been stolen from the crypt at St Michan’s Church in Dublin after it was vandalised over the weekend. It’s been confirmed that the crypt, which has been open to the public since the 1930s, will now remain closed “for the foreseeable future”. The vandalism […]

Rubberbandits became the unofficial spokesperson for young Irish people in the early noughties. Especially Blindboy Boatclub who became a frequent spokesperson for mental health and appeared on various television shows to talk about anything from ‘post-truth’ to his book which features the story about De Valera and Collins having ‘Arse Children’. Looting and vandalism was rampant in Tallaght this evening as a gang of people broke into a Lidl store in the Fortunestown area before demolishing the building with a JCB and attempted to open a safe taken from the supermarket.  It was reported that Gardai were delayed entering the scene due to treacherous road conditions and […]

Those talented folks at Subset Dublin have been at it again.  Back in January, a mural of Blindboy from the Rubberbandits was place in Andrew’s Lane next to U.S. President Donald Trump who arrived there a couple of months previously. Not the best company for the Limerick star we’re sure you’ll agree but he can rest […]
