I’m all about that ‘Friday Feeling’ mentality; anything to get the weekend festivities going as soon as possible.
And top of my list of Friday activities for this month is the Dublin Night Market.
The flea market has been running since 2008 but this will be its first night market in 11 years. After a brief hiatus in May 2018, it’s back up and running on the grounds of the Digital Hub on Thomas Street.
The event, which comes as part of culture night 2019, is in collaboration with Dublin Film Festival and along with all the usual vendors and food stalls, there will also be an outdoor cinema for your viewing pleasure.
I can only describe this place as a thrifter’s paradise and there’s nothing I love more than bagging a bargain. Choose from retro, vintage, antique furniture, clothes, vinyl and collectables amongst other treasures. You can basically kit yourself and your whole gaff out here for cheap.

Stock up while you still can as this will be the last market of the year before Dublin Flea hibernates for the winter. September 20, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pencil it in on the calendar lads.
Sounds like an ideal way to wrap up a long work week.
