🌟EXCITING NEWS! WE'RE HOSTING A MONTLY FLEA MARKET!😝🙌🏻 🌟 Taking place in the almighty Dublin institution that is @workmansclub, and supported by the sound buzzers at @roeandco, this is going to be a monthly celebration of sustainable fashion in its entirety - complete with DJ sets, workshops, panel talks, screenings, cocktails (for the over 18s amongst us), gorgeous souls, and some seriously sweet sustainability vibes. This flea market has been a loooong time in the making so we truly cannot wait to get the first instalment kicked off next Saturday. 🕺🏻👖👗👘 **WHAT TO EXPECT** We have loooads stall traders coming in every month laden with rails of gorgeous pieces; from individuals selling their own preloved gems, to vintage hoarders and of course local artisan and sustainable vendors - we've got it all, behbeh. Whilst the fleamarket itself will be FREE to enter, we'll also be running a range of upcycling workshops throughout the day, costing a fraction of the usual price, which people can buy tickets for in advance. That, plus panel discussions with industry movers-and-groovers, as well as doc screenings and morrre..... 👀 This is just the first announcement, but we'll be sharing more details with you in the coming weeks, so watch this space - AND SAVE THE DATE!!!🥳 Big love, G&T xx

Flea markets have been around for years but the push towards ‘sustainable this’ and ‘sustainable that’ has made them all the more popular as of late.

No complaints though, all aboard the sustainability train!

Hell-bent on showing people just how colourful, fun and expressive sustainable fashion can be, the SFD duo is passionate about shopping sustainably.

Hoping to fill the gap left behind by the Dublin Flea Market events, the new market will kick off on November 16th from 12 noon to 5 pm.

Housed in the Workman’s Club it will be a monthly celebration of sustainable fashion in its entirety – with DJ sets, workshops, panel talks, screenings and cocktails to boot. A full-on party by the sounds of it.

Each month will see small traders showcase their offerings, from pre-loved bits to vintage finds along with local artisan and sustainable vendors.

Ideal for finding unique gifts coming up to Christmas…there’s no avoiding it now may as well embrace the festivities.

The market itself will be free to enter though some of the upcycling workshops will be ticketed. Keep an eye on the Sustainable Fashion Dublin Instagram page for more info closer to the time.

Starting off with a ‘Holey Moley Patchwork Workshop’, Taz and Geraldine will teach attendees how to give their clothes a new lease of life. You’ll learn how to patch up old pieces with “pzazz, colour and style”.

With more and more clothing going to landfill/incineration every day, now is the time to utilise what we already have.

Flaunt what ya got my friends.
