We’ve Got The LAST Tickets To The Achill Island NYE Festival — Here’s Your Chance To Go

seank

A few weeks back we announced that a New Year’s Eve festival would be taking place on Achill Island this December — and the response we got was huge.

Due to phenomenal demand, the first round of tickets to Smithwick’s 10° West was completely snapped up in days and then when another round was released, those tickets were gone in minutes.

So it’s safe to say there’s a lot of excitement around the festival, but there’s also a smidge of disappointment from those not fortunate enough to have grabbed their tickets in time.

But there’s still hope!

We happen to have in our possession the very last two tickets to Smithwick’s 10° West and we want to give them to you: our intelligent, kind and downright lovely audience.

Yep, we truly are that selfless.

What’s happening at the festival?

Over the course of December 31 and January 1, there’ll be a tonne of things for you to do. We’re talking scenic cycles overlooking the Atlantic, nature yoga sessions and hikes through the rolling green hills of Achill Island — and that’s just the daytime itinerary.

When the night rolls around, the boutique music festival goes into full swing. The hub of the celebration is found in the Keel tent, featuring performances from the likes of Lumo & Talos, Stomptown Brass and Daithi.

Not only that, but many of the favourite pubs of Achill will transformed to hold acoustic and pop-up music sessions, where you’ll also be able to find a chilled pint of Smithwick’s.

And since the island is located on a longitude of approximately 10 degrees west (we fiiinally get the name), those in attendance will be among the lucky few to see the last sunset of 2017 in Ireland.

How do we enter?!

Just keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook on Wednesday, December 20 to be in with a chance to win the very last pair of tickets to Smithwick’s 10° West.

Best of luck!
