Best Things To Do In Dublin On A Sunday

Lovin' Media

Ahhhhh Sunday. Who doesn’t love it? Although we can be quite wrecked after the shenanigans of Saturday night, Dublin has far too much to do over the summer for you to waste your Sunday.

Walk Around Howth Head

This is hands down one of the most picturesque walks you can do in Dublin. It brings you up to the cliffs of Howth Head and gives you incredible dramatic views of Dublin’s coastline as well as the charming town of Howth below.

And once you’re finished your walk, there are plenty of places to grab a bag of chips or go for a sit-down meal.

Cycle Along The Royal Canal

This gorgeous northside canal is ideal for a Sunday cycle or even a stroll. On a sunny day, the route may be quite busy with cyclists, dog walkers, and even people out fishing.

Mountjoy is a good starting point. Then, you make your way along the canal to Binns Bridge in Drumcondra.

Climb the Roof at Croke Park

Why not get 17 stories high in the sky and get amazing panoramic views of the city?

The rooftop walkway is actually Dublin’s highest open-viewing platform, and you can get a tour which will highlight all of the city’s main landmarks and tell you all about the rich history behind them.

Hosted by drag queen Shirly Temple Bar, bingo in The George has been going for over 20 years now. There’s a weekly prize, spot prizes, amazing drag, and loads of craic.
