It's a new era for one of Dublin's most popular venues, Café en Seine.
The Dawson St. late bar was a staple in any solid night out plan - it was one of the reliables, where you'd be guaranteed a great night no matter what you were in the mood for - good food, live music, cocktails, a mad one or a chilled buzz.
It was sorely missed when it closed its doors for renovation. But now it's coming back, and better than ever.
The newly designed space will feature several dining experiences along with a host of bars and bespoke event areas, and an extensive food menu which caters for a range of tastes and occasions.
Hungry visitors will be able to choose from ‘at the bar’ sharing plates for those who are looking for a casual food experience or a bespoke à la carte menu for those who want to enjoy a meal in the newly designated restaurant.
One of the largest bar spaces in Ireland, the re-imagined venue will continue to deliver the premium bar service its customers have come to know and love. Spread across seven areas, the bars will serve everything from local favourites to high end beers, spirits and cocktails.
One of our favourite additions is an indoor-outdoor street garden with a retractable glass roof - perfect for the changeable Irish weather. The botanical bar and dining area will have its own entrance on Anne’s Lane to the rear of the building. The Parisian inspired, conservatory style garden will be suitable for the changeable Irish weather conditions featuring a retractable glass roof. Customers can enjoy a casual dining experience during the day and at night, with the Parisian inspired, conservatory style garden transforming into a lively bar space.
The new street garden transforms into a lively bar at night
Announcing the re-opening, David Murray, Café en Seine’s General Manager said;
‘The new Café en Seine will offer the same great service that we are famous for. To add to this, we have re-imagined the space to ensure it caters for the modern customer. Everything from the venue layout, to the food offering to the drinks service has the customer in mind.
Café en Seine will open in November 2018. The venue is currently taking bookings for corporate and private events. Keep an eye on the website for full details coming soon.
