Casa BACARDÍ, which is known for celebrating Latin culture at Electric Picnic, is set to hype up the nation for the Stradbally music festival by taking its show on the road this summer.

Now in its fifteenth year, Casa BACARDÍ has always endeavoured to capture the vibrant street culture of the rum’s native land of Cuba with pulsating tunes and mojitos. Until now this has just been a festival experience, but Casa On Tour is now bringing the celebration to clubs around Ireland. Fans of the EP stage can expect the atmosphere that they’ve come to love, but presented in more intimate settings in Dublin, Cork and more.

Major names from Ireland’s DJing scene make an appearance at each event to provide tunes synonymous with BACARDÍ and guests will be encouraged to do what moves them during each event through an interactive activity. On each night of the tour, the reveller who best expresses what Casa BACARDÍ means to them will bag themselves two VIP weekend tickets to Electic Picnic 2018 — so don’t be afraid to shake those hips, people!

Of course, this is still Casa BACARDÍ so let’s not forget the famous rum for which it’s named.

At Casa On Tour, BACARDÍ bartenders will also be sharing their top tips on how to make rum cocktails like an expert with their Mojito masterclasses.

Casa On Tour kicked off on June 16 at RIOT Dublin with guest DJ CiCi and continued the journey at 1520 on June 30. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of chances left to get in on the action:

Casa On Tour will set the summer vibe in the following venues:

  • SOHO, 10pm-12.30am, July 21, with guest Claire Beck
  • The Jar, 10pm-12.30am, July 27, with guest Jamie Byrne
  • D|Two, 10.30pm-12.30am, August 3, with guest DJ Flip

As a little added sweetener, the first 100 guests to walk through the door at each event will be treated to a complimentary BACARDÍ Mojito, so if you’re planning on going we’d advise on being an early bird.
