‘Croffle’ Is The Latest Food Trend To Hit Dublin – And You Can Get It On Camden Street Right Now

seank

Do you love all things French? Are you always looking for something new and exciting?

Then you might want to swing by a little pop-up which just opened this very morning: La Petite Boulangerie.

Located at 9 Camden Street, the French eatery by Cuisine de France will be open for just two weeks, with a menu which focusses mainly on the newly invented ‘Croffle’.

The baked good is a marriage of the classic rich, buttery French croissant, with the unique texture of a modern, sumptuous waffle.

The Croffle will be served every day of La Petite Boulangerie’s run, coming with a variety of fillings to suit all tastes. The innovative menu also includes delights like Pulled Pork and Apple Slaw (slow-cooked pulled pork with crunchy cabbage and apple slaw) and Lemon Cheesecake (lemon curd, zesty mascarpone cheese and fresh strawberries).

We’re particularly excited about Louise Lennox’s signature Croffle, in collaboration with Cuisine de France, which is called Avocado and Feta by Louise Lennox, containing avocado and sun-blushed tomatoes with a feta drizzle, gremolata crumb and toasted hazelnuts.

La Petite Boulangerie will celebrate all things French throughout its duration, with in-store entertainment and activities taking place throughout the launch day. There’ll also be special celebrations taking place on Friday, July 14 for the French national holiday of Bastille Day, so be sure to swing by for that too.
