Leave any preconceptions in the lobby and expect to be blown away if you visit Deloitte’s newest premises in Whitaker Court. This is the latest addition to Deloitte’s four Dublin office locations and is an innovation hot house where new ideas are developed and delivered.
The very cool office space was designed to facilitate creative and agile thinking, with Reddy Architecture & Urbanism picking up the Building of the Year – Small Office Project 2017 award for the design.
The space is located in Dublin’s Grand Canal docks which is fast becoming Ireland’s answer to Silicon Valley. Whitaker Court is the home to Deloitte’s innovative capabilities with the EMEA Grid blockchain Centre of Excellence team, Deloitte Digital, Fintech and RPA (Robotics Process Automation) teams all based in this building.
The areas of focus here are:
Blockchain: potentially one of the biggest disruptors to business for the nextdecade. From this lab the team run workshops and bootcamps to educate clients on blockchain technology and helping clients to identify where blockchain could help their business
Deloitte Digital: all things digital and connected. The team here use agile methodologies to deliver digital transformation, user experience design and enhance customer experience
Robotics: support clients in transforming the future through improving internal business processes and increasing efficiencies
Fintech: where two mega-sectors collide – Financial Services and Technology To boost all that creative thinking, the Dublin office is home to a multi-functional garage that facilitates client workshops and external/internal events, multiple glass meeting rooms for design thinking and brainstorming sessions and stand-up soundproof rooms for conference calls.
