Earlier in the week we invited members of our community to tweet #BeBold at us, in the hopes of getting an invite to The Den, the Orchard Thieves cider launch last night.
Those that were lucky enough to nab a guestlist spot followed the fox into ‘The Den of Thieves’ for a night of mischief.
Once we checked our names off the guestlist we received our fox stamp, firmly marking the beginning of our journey into the Den of Thieves. We made our way down the stairs and were greeted by a very well dressed bandit who invited us to enter through one of two doorways…The Den or Be Bold.
The Lovin Dublin crew split up, some heading in through The Den. The braver amongst us, who dared to enter through the Be Bold entrance, were rewarded with pouring their own pint of Orchard Thieves cider before descending on to the party. Between tweeting your most boldest moments to be illustrated on the Be Bold wall, cheeky dares and secret photobooths, there was plenty of bold behaviour!
Halfway through the night the stage’s screen was hijacked to show an announcement that Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol was being thieved from The Workmans, where he was scheduled to play a set later that night. Guests were encouraged to tweet with #BeBold for the thieves to deliver Nathan to the Den of Thieves – everyone frantically grabbed their phones in an attempt to tweet to get him there.
A mischievous night was had by all, but don’t take our word for it! Here’s what some of the attendees had to say on Twitter..
